The Hotel Le Grand Chalet et Spa Colmar offers luxury in a family environment! With a total of only four suites is certainly one of the smallest five-star hotels in France! The suites are  25 sqm, 50 sqm, 80 sqm and 90 sqm large. All have one bedroom (the larger a living room), a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen (among others with microwave and coffee maker!). Wooden walls and ceilings and a fireplace hearth in every suite provide cosiness in the cooler seasons. Of all the suites, guests have a wonderful view over the hills of Alsace and further over the city of Colmar to the mountains of the Black Forest! Guests can use the small and cozy wellness area with hot tub, gym and sauna at the Hotel Le Grand Chalet et Spa Colmar.

If guests wish, the chef comes to the suite and prepare in your own kitchen to dinner. He served either in the suite itself, or – weather permitting – on the terrace!

The Hotel Le Grand Chalet et Spa Colmar is located in a quiet location near the forest in the small development area Hunabuhl west of Niedermorschwihr. Niedermorschwihr is a quiet village with only 570 inhabitants, surrounded by vineyards. Pretty half-timbered houses and the old church St. Gallus ( „Saint-Gall“) dot the village. The church of St. Gallus is special due to strange twisted tip. The region with its hills and vineyards lures for hiking. One can go to wineries which offer wine tastings (Riesling, Sylvaner, Pinot Noir …), or country inns, where typical Alsatian Tarte is served. The city of Colmar, just seven kilometers east of Niedermorschwihr located, is also worth a visit! Art lovers look naturally by the Unterlinden Museum of Colmar, where great works of art (for example, the Isenheim Altarpiece by Matthias Grünewald) and archaeological finds are on display. And the center of Colmar with its timbered houses offers shutterbugs many romantic themes!
