The famous Grand Hotel Stockholm is located in the Stockholm district Blasieholmen. The first guests stayed here back in 1874, after living in Sweden Frenchman Jean-François Régis Cadier had just started in 1866 with the creation of the hotel. Today the hotel includes three buildings – the original hotel, the palatset Bolinderska 1889 integrated  and the 1909 Attached Grand Hotel Royal. The  hotel opens to the front to Riddarfjärden, the easternmost bay of Malaren. It is the only Swedish hotel, which was included in the group of „Leading Hotels of the World“, and even carries the royal title „Royal Court supplier“.
