The oldest luxury hotel of Paris owes its existence to the postmaster Charles-Augustin Meurice, who built at the beginning of the 19th century in the rue Saint-Honoré, the first hotel Meurice. With the construction of 3 km of Rue de Rivoli, directed by Baron Haussmann in 1835 was today’s Hotel Le Meurice created. It belongs to the very exquisite Dorchester Collection.
The Hotel Le Meurice has seven floors and has 160 soundproofed rooms and suites. Five rooms are equipped for disabled guests. The rooms and suites in the third and fourth floors are non-smoking.
